The regular Green Cheek Conure have an olive green body and wings (navy feathers at the end of their wings), and a maroon tail. Their head is dark and their throats are gray-green with flecks of green. They make excellent companion Parrots and are ideal for people living in apartment blocks or areas where the keeping of noisy parrots can be a problem. They also come in a wide variety of colorful mutations.
