At Kiwi Newfoundlands, we aim to keep the working instinct alive and well in the dogs. We organise carting events throughout the year, and while these are fun events there is also an element of competition in them between the teams.
Also, we help out at numerous galas and special events through the year where the dogs and handlers put into practice those skills they learnt in the competitions.
Our first carting event for 2006 was held on the 5th February, and we had a solid turn out of entrants. Beautiful weather, a great course, and (of course!) the essential lunch all contributed to a wonderful day for everyone.
