A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend to so many, a fighter right to the end. Alethia was more commonly known as Leila, she and her husband Earl raised there family in Akina, and are still in the same house. . My dad use to visit the house, and if he went fishing, Aunty Leila would make a huge box of sandwiches for the fisherman. I also remember they had a grapevine, dad would come home with a crate full of grapes, yum. I had lost contact with her years ago, it was only in the last few years I was re-introduced to my dads family. Aunty Leila's later years saw her fighting Alzeimers, her family never gave up.
