Okay, I was born in Christchurch, New Zealand, and I'm not gonna tell you how many years ago (which gives you a clue that it was more than 20, right?)!  I'm the youngest of a large family, I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers, so I guess you could say I'm a little bit spoilt!  LOL!

I went to Burnside High School in Christchurch, and hated every minute of it!  Burnside is one of the biggest schools in New Zealand and home of the dreaded Miss Francis whose personal objective was to make my life a misery!

So I left school as soon as I could and mucked about for a few years before deciding to go to Canterbury University where I studied History and Linguistics.

Still unsure as to what I wanted to do, I then attended Christchurch Polytech and gained my International Galileo Travel Agents Diploma.

After that I thought, sod it!  And did something I always wanted to do - travel!

I left New Zealand on 01st March 1997, and travelled to Australia, Italy and Norway before eventually coming to the UK where I currently live.

I only intended to stay in the UK for 2 years, but things don't always turn out like you planned, and I met my husband, Steve.  We got married in my hometown on 05th June 1999.  You can see pictures of the big day here.

As for hobbies, I'm totally addicted to the Internet and making webpages (as I guess you'll find out!), I tend to put far too many pages on a website cos I just can't help myself, damn it!

  I have a great love of animals (you can see my furry friends in my Pets page).  I hate any form of testing on animals.  Please make sure when you buy cosmetics, detergents etc... that they are cruelty free!  For a listing of companies that are Cruelty Free click here, this page is the Official List from Peta of Companies that don't test on animals. I've also started glass painting, but this is a fairly new hobby for me so I don't have much to tell you about it.

Hmmmm...what else do ya wanna know?  I collect pigs (not real ones, duh!), love Winnie the Pooh, Sanrio, Egypt (the next place on my list to visit), vampires, clean sheets, vodka, the countryside, dance music, U2, The Sims, Ewan McGregor (esp. in his guise as a Jedi Knight!  Mmmmmmm!), John Travolta, Friends, EastEnders, staying up late and sleeping in, good hair days, The Bee Gees (yes, I admit it!), shopping and that good old favourite...chocolate!
