| After 35 seconds of adrenaline-laced freefall and breathlessness, the canopy opens and your stomach jumps into your throat. Then it's 3 or 4 mintues to float down to a pinpoint landing, taking in the view and even catching a glimpse of Mt. Cook off in the distance. As with all these sports, it's both addictive and expensive. |
