A knife, often with a white handle that is used to cast the circle.  During ceremonies it is used to cut and inscribe things such as candles.

Used with charcoal and powdered incense, in erecting the temple, consecration and other rituals.

A cup or goblet that is filled with wine.  The chalice represent the female sex.

Used to cleanse and purify.  Each fragrance has individual properties and most ceremonies will have  a preferred type.  Frankincense is the most common as it has a variety of properties.

A circle of wood, metal, wax on which the pentagram (five pointed star) is inscribed.

Five pointed star within a circle. The points of the star represent the elements and the human body.  Not the same as the "satanic star", which is an inverted pentagram.

In ceremonies conducted indoors it is not possible to pour wine onto the ground (honoring the Lord and Lady).  Wine is instead pour into a libation dish which is later poured onto the ground.

Wands are used often in casting the circle and
some ceremonies talk about a priapic wand.  These wands symbolize the male sex.
