Ritual
Now is the time for celebration
the beauty of summer is over
and winter draws near

The Bell is rung three times, dance deosil around the circle as you wish

Let no time be more equal
As night and day rival each other
It is time to enjoy the fruits of our harvest
We celebrate with our hearts giving thanks for our rewards

Here in the balance, time still does not stand still
Our wheel turns forever and the Sun will rise and set
As the sun does rise, so dotes Death visit
He is inevitable so we greet him as a friend
It is he who opens the door that leads life unto life
Life to death, death to life
Balance and harmony ever moving

Taking a peice of fruit and say:

I give thanks to the Gods for this, a sign of a succesful harvest and a good year

The bell is rung seven times and the fruit is eaten.  Time is taken to sit and talk.  We all have eaten the bell is rung three times and stand

Harvest season draws to a close but we know the Gods are forever with us
Our Lord watches over us and will provide during the harshnest of Winter
To the beauty of Autumn and friends, we give thanks to our Lord and Lady
And now we farewell the sun
We prepare for the winter
We think of the least fortunate
And we ask for protection
We offer this so it may go where it is needed

A piece of fruit is placed into a small whole on the ground of libation dish

May the Lord and Lady bless us, our loved ones, the givers and those who will recieve
So Mote It Be
