My References Text books:
These are my references text books for all informations appear in my sketches session
  • STARWARE by Harrington: This is my first book. It is very useful for beginner, start from basic knowledge of telescope end up with observing/sketching.
  • Touring the Universe through Binoculars by Harrington: I use Chapter 2 for Moon observing information. Table 6.1 show 103 messier objects that can be seen through Binoculars and classify difficulty rating of each object

  • TURN LEFT AT ORION by Consolmagno and Davis: give the guideline "how they look like when see through small telescope', also classify the impression rating of each object

  • Deep-Sky Companions: The Messier Objects by O'Meara: The completed information including superb sketches. It quite difficult to compare my sketches against this text book due to much more details that can't be seen at my home site.

  • BURNHAM'S CELESTIAL HANDBOOK (Volume 1, 2 & 3): Good reference taxt, interestingly descriptions, excellent definition of amateur astronomer in introduction (vol.1)

  • Sky Atlas 2000.0 Companion by Strong & Sinnott: for latest information of all 2,700 deep-sky objects in Sky Atlas 2000.0 Home
