Observing details:
Start hopping from beta-Cassiopeia-->Star 7 & 5, further hop to star 1,2 & 4. Refer to skyatlas page 3, Star 4-cass. & one star nearby and M52 are align as a triangle which M52 located at one corner. Unfortunately, M52 is quite low altitude, it is very hard to separate from horizon skyglow. The solution is to use high magnification (40x can't seen, but 100x is ok). To locate M52, it needs lower magnitude limit skymap e.g. down to magnitude 10-12 which skyatlas limited only 8.5, map print out from starry night back yard is good enough.
At 100x, M52 appeared as round small cluster tiny stars can be resolved but with unstable image (due to low seeing at low altitude)

Refer to Text:Detached, strong concentration of stars, large, rich at least 100 suns. Extend 10 ly, age 35 Mly, Trumpler I 2 r.
