start hopping at M44, in finder scope M44 is surrounded with three bright stars which nearly equal angle (120 degree). The brightest star is number 46 which points to stars 63,62. From stars 63 & 62 hop to stars 65, 60 & 50. M67 locates at middle between stars 50 & 60, even though M67 couldn't see in finder scope but quite easy to log it. At eyepiece M67 appeared as nebulosity of non resolvable stars with a few bright stars, also used averted vision.
