Start hopping from Arcturus-->Muphrid & star 4 in Bootes, hop to star 42 in Coma Berenices. From star 4 in Bootes to star 42 in COma Berenices is very long distance and have no bright star to help to hop. I shifted RA axis to west direction as star 4 & 42 are nearly same DEC. A star mag6 and double star mag6.5 appear in the same FOV of finder scope help to confirm the bright star is star 42. M53 locates at one corner of imaginary triangle comprise of star 42, star mag6 and M53 itself, it couldn't be seen in finder scope. At eyepiece, M53 appeared as faint round, small smudge of light which need avert vision and waiting for moment of good seeing.
