Start at Sirius in Canis major, hop to stars 20 & 23, there are double star and
a single star mag6 which points to M47. M47 is easily seen in finder scope.
M47 appeared as bright, large, loose cluster. 19 stars could be observed.
On this night, I failed to observe M46 due to not so good sky condition.
Refer to text: 30 stars detached, max mag5.7, extend 16 ly, age 78 million years.
