Start hopping from the handle of tea-pot comprise of stars 34,27,38 & 40; 40-->27-->point to star 22 (the lid of tea-pot); center at star 22 and look for stars 24 & 25 that look like a pair of double star. M22 locates about 0.5 degree in north-east direction from 24 & 25, it couldn't see in finder scope. At eyepiece 40x, M22 appeared as faint smudge of light, round, large , without bright nucleus and couldn't resolve stars.
