The star hopping same as M10. By continue hopping from M10 to two mag 6.5 stars ,M12 locates at one corner of imaginary right triangle comprise of two mag 6.5 stars and M12. Moved M12 to the center of finder scope then goto eyepiece, M12 was easily seen as round, can't resolve stars, I felt it was bigger than M10, (but not true as M10 is 19' but M12 is 14'), this may be more light can overcome bangkok skyglow (M10 = mag6.6, M12 = mag6.1). also it looked like have some open cluster as foreground. but don't show in text book.
