PUFFY CAT (12/29/66-4/17/1983) Shari & Lynn
Puffy was a beautiful grey persian. She had a gentle personality and loved unconditionally. Puffy brought joy into my life. Puffy was 1 years old when I was was born. Although Puffy and I had a rocky start, we soon became best friends. Puffy would sleep at the foot of my bed and we were always together. Puffy died one April Sunday morning when I was a freshman in high school. The family awoke to find Puffy had passed away in her sleep at the age of 16 1/2. Puffy Cat is dearly missed and will always hold a special place in my heart. - Shari
When I was four years old, I wanted a kitty cat. My mom promised me one after we moved to our new home in Dayton. My mom thought I would forget but I didn't. I pestered and pestered until we got Puffy. Puffy was a cute kitten, a little grey fluff ball. Puffy and the dog, Corky played and played. They would chase each other around the house. We had two scares with Puffy. When we lived in Dayton, Puffy was hit my a car. She survived and suffered no permanent damage. Then when we lived in Houston, Puffy disappeared for a few days. We finally found her, hiding in the old clubhouse furniture in the garage. Puffy had been hit by a car again and had limped home. She survied and once again suffered no permanent damage. Puffy was very loving and her favorite sleeping position was want we called the "hangover" position. She sat on the back of the couch and bent her head over like she had a bad hangover. She also adapted well, moving five times across the country with the family. When Puffy was 12, her buddy Corky passed away. Puffy missed her buddy dearly. Puffy lived to be 16 1/2 years old. - Lynn
SNOWY - (1964) Lynn
You were only with us a short time. You showed up one day and decided we were your new family. You were such a gentle kitty cat. You let me put you in my baby doll's stroller and push you around like you were a baby. We named you Snowy because of your beautiful white fur. One day you disappeared and we never knew what happened to you. Someone may have taken you or maybe a coyote got you. I loved you and miss you always.

My sweet dear Mitzi, on September 20, 1986 you were born into this world. Your life began with sadness, your kitty mommy was killed when you were two weeks old. You and your four siblings were hand fed and all of you grew up to be healthy beautiful kittens. I will never forget the day I first saw you. You were advertised as calico, with orange and black, all ready for Halloween. That October afternoon, my mom and I went to see the kittens. You were so cute, with your short tail, you were originally named short tail. We changed your name to Mitzi and its a good thing we did, because your short little tail grew into a beautiful long fluffy tail. You were my first kitten. And you were a present to me for good grades on my report card. You were a part of my life for so long, you were there when I graduated high school, there for my first real boyfriend, there when I graduated college, graduated law school, were there when I was sworn in for the bar, you were there when I became engaged and married. You were there during the bad times too, when I lost my babies. You have always been there for me during the good and bad times in my life. It is hard to believe you are now at Rainbow Bridge. I know you are still with me in spirit and will live forever in my heart. I love you and miss you, I know you are with Gidget now. And I know she is taking excellant care of you. Gidget was always your buddy. You loved her so much you gave her a Valentine's Day gift for your first Valentine's Day together. Funny thing is that was my boyfriends Valentine's Day gift you pushed off the kitchen table for Gidget. But I am sure Gidget appreciated the big cookie far more than my boyfriend would have. Maybe you were trying to tell me something then. You were such a good girl. You loved to play with chewed up dog bones and the caps off of syrup bottles. I just wish you didn't choose 2AM to bang them around on the hard floor. But you were so cute when you took me on that midnight game of chase. I will be with you again someday. Until then you are not alone, you are in my heart forever and you are with Gidget and Puffy now. They will take excellant care of you. And I know you are Gidget are running around and playing like crazy. Love always, my sweet Mitzi Bitzi Bug

My dear sweet Toi Ling, its hard to believe you have passed to Rainbow Bridge. I know Mitzi and Gidget are looking out for you now. You were my first male kitty cat and before you I never heard of a himalayan. I remember the day we adopted you so clearly. My father always had a one cat, one dog rule, but mom and I fell in love with you instantly and we called him from the petstore to ask if he would be mad if we brought home another kitten and broke the one cat, one dog rule. He didn't answer, so we took that as a sign it was okay to bring you into our lives. You were a big part of my life, over 15 years of my life was spent with you. You were with me through so many changes in my life, I can't imagine my life without you. We held a special bond and that bond carried with us always, you passed away to Rainbow Bridge in the safety and comfort of my arms. You let out a little meow to say goodbye before you made your final journey across the Bridge. Mitzi and Gidget were there for you on the other side of the Bridge to help you through this. Brandi is here with me to help me through this. One day we will meet again, until then you will live forever in my heart and I will always love you.
