The Vexerhasthis are known as the leeches of the world as Marvadi. As terrible as it may sound, the Vex are the most socialable and coexisting with the rest of the world. This is mainly because, unlike others of the demon races that can lure their prey from afar, the Vex rely on closer intimacy to fulfill their demonic needs.

The Vex come in two forms, the rarer of the two is a larger lizard like appearance. Males have various blue toned scales and larger fins along their backs and tails while females have hues o purple for their scales and smaller fins. Both male and females range in size in their demon form from 7-9 feet excluding the span of their tails (ranging an extra 1-2 feet). The have solid black eyes like that of a snake and generally look unfeeling to the world around them. In their true demon form they are stronger than the other lower demon races and most, but not all of the higher demon races as far as muscle is concerned, but the Vex often walk around in their more �mortal� appearance. In mortal form their only distinguishing traits are their small, but noticeable, pointed ears and their solid snake like black eyes.

The demonic leeches, as their namesake implies, are blood drinkers (the only true blood drinkers of the demon world). They can drink blood in either form, though the Vex more often choose to do so in their �mortal guise�. Like most demonic creatures they need at lest one full �meal� a day, though skipping a day or so will not kill them, just make them awfully cranky. The Vex are, despite their beyond the normal demon strength, a pacifistic race and tend to shy away from other demon affairs. They are more inclined to blend into the living world and hunt at their leisure rather than wait for the darkness and torture the general population. That doesn�t mean they can�t have their demonic fun. They just prefer to let their prey know they are around. Most cities generally welcome the Vex into their mists. A City with a small population of Vex is often not infested with other demon races. It�s a lesser evil to be hunted by a demon you can see than by many you can�t. The mass majority gets protection and the Vex get a constant supply of food.

Aside from their superior strength and quick reflexes, the Vex have no real magickal abilities. They are the brute force of the demon world, the open charmers, and often demon representatives. Like all he demons the Vex can see in pure darkness in both their forms. Vex are extremely vulnerable to fire and the stronger enchanted metals. Most irons and steels barely cause a mark against them, though from time to time they can get a scratch for it.
