The Trelfs

Trelf is the shortened form of Tree elf. As the name implies, these elves live in wooded areas and deal with the wildlife. Tehir magickal skills are greater than any human mage, but the still pose no threat to any demon or Eladin, as they can not be as powerful as them. Trelfs are pasifistic, mostly, elves that deal mainly in sustaining what little of the world is left. Without a small band of Trelfs, most forests and cities would not thrive. Trelfs can grow crops for a city in a day, if there are several. One alone can grow enough for two people, so to care for a small group, a trelf must continually care for a garden or small wooded area. A band of trelfs can sustain one small forest, as many tend to do. They fear demons and the dark as any human beings as their darkness eye sight is poor. On good days, they can maybe make out a form or two through the darkness, but it is rare. Their visable sight in the twin moon light, however, is very accurate.

Trelfs can see as sharply as any bird of prey, if they are not born with magick. Those that can not grow plants will in turn guard them as their magickal brothers and sisters. They are not good for hand to hand combat, but their distance fighting is superb, and in most cases, is enough to protect a forest and their people. THey are also great trackers and great at concealing themselves. They understand how the nature around them has adjusted to the harsh times.

Trelfs are wary of humans, but they do coexist with them, for they know humans are dependant upon their magick to live as their protection. Most smaller cities and villages are found in and around Trelf made forests.

Trelfs have natural skins tones of tans and peach, and their hair can vary from golden/yellow, burgundies, and violet/purple. They grow no taller than 5'6" and are usually lithely built. They have no specified eye color for their race, but popular eye colors are browns and violets. And good thing to know about Trelfs are that they love life, be it by sustaining it through their magick or protecting with their aim. They are born with the desire to sustain or protect and live by their natures valiently until the day they die.
