Sealfs are Sea elves, and naturally are born in and live within the icy seas of Marvadi. Sealfs are hostile creatures and highly carnivorous in nature, though they are fearful of most sailing vessels. Sealfs do harness the magicks of the waters and protect all life within their domain. Interestignly enough is Sealfs will at times defend those outside their watery home if the other has first befriended them and proven itself worth protecting. They make loyal friends. Legend says any vessel blessed by a Sealf shall never befall misfortune.

Sealfs are unique in their looks. They range in a variety of heights and colors. All trealfs have both gills, located on their sides, just below the rib cage or along their backs, and a set of lungs. They also sport fins. fins can grow along the heads, spine, arms, legs, or take the place of a limb, depending on specific Sealf. (In other words, this is the closest creature to mermaids.)

Sealfs are great fighters, depending on their mastery of the water, and their long distance fighting rather than close combat, though a few are lucky to be strong hand to hand combatants. And as all other lesser fae, their gifts are no match for a demon or eladin, alone. Sealfs tend to cast in groups, magnifying their spells and sometimes overpowering an adversary.
