None of the demon races are as greatly revered or feared as the Dinsar. They are the eldest of the higher races, first descendants of the ancient demons. The Dinsar are wise, cunning, and bearing half souls. This means they only possess SOME emotions, but not all. For instance, A Dinsar can feel pain for a lost limb, but not remorse for a wrong. They can feel anger from not being answered, but they can not grow jealous of anothers skills. The Dinsar in their mortal forms stand anywhere from 510 to 7 feet and are all lanky and androgynous. Dinsar all have the same golden eyes and straight form of black hair. Dinsar live in cities, mostly underground and are not found of spending time above ground when the twin moons are up. They prefer absolute darkness, for they see the best in the dark.
The Dinsar are harbingers of death, possessing an almost complete control of it. A Dinsar can hold a creature on its brink for centuries if it so chooses to and create a legion of half dead, all dependant upon the Dinsar. They can also suspend death, as they call it. This means that they can hold a corpse in suspended animation, free from the confines of decay and possess the soul within the dead form until they se no more use of it and they release the suspension on the corpse. Though a Dinsar may possess a soul, they can never retain all the essence of the former person or their memories.
The Dinsar are the demon race in power thanks to the cursing of the sky. Their empress as is the worlds holds supreme rule over them all. She is the eldest of the Dinsar and as the oldest holds connections to the rest of her race. She knows what they do and dont do. Dinsar can not disobey elders orders and are placed into a station the moment they are born which they can never alter. Dinsar have no free choice or will unless it is their empresss will or choice.
Their true demon form is a gigantic bird-like creature with transparent bat-like wings. They have long necks and a feathered body. Their tails are long and spiked at the end. Depending on the station in life determines their head plumage or horn mantle. The lowest ranking have neither but the empress has both plumage and a massive horn mantle. They are as large as the higher dragons and are just as strong. They eat purely meat, blood, and souls in their true form, but in their mortal, they can eat anything they please.
Though incredibly powerful, all Dinsar hold their empress as their weakness if she is destroyed, so too is the entire race. Lower Dinsar can be vanquished by heavy metal and extreme magick battles.
