I was born on September 22 of 1963 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the proud (hehehe) parents of Gerald and Shirley. I have 2 older sisters, Cindy and Laura, an older brother, Greg and a twin brother, Dennis. I have 4 nieces, Angela, Sarah, Nicole and Amanda. I have 3 nephews, Michael, AJ and JD. I also have 5 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews. In 2004 moved to South Carolina from Texas and trying to find my way around this new city that I reside in, has proven not too hard. Well, the city isn't all that big, but the other city I am close to is a little bigger. Nothing more frustrating than having people ride your hinder and you trying to find the right street to turn on. But after 20 years of the Texas lifestyle, I was in need of a change. I still do miss Minnesota, but I guess that is the child in me. In my free time, I like to surf the net and talk to my family and friends on messenger. I also like to read, cross-stitch (when I am in the mood), listen to some good music (not rap). I also love to cook, which you will see that I have put together a collection of my favorite recipes to share with everyone. I also like to work out, swim and go for long walks in the evenings when it is not so hot. I am also a sports nut! I prefer to watch sports on TV, but I do attend some of the games when I can. My dad is at fault for this. (hehehe) Growing up in a "mans world" of sports, in my parents house, either you learned to like sports or you go to your room. So I would sit and watch some games with my dad. My father also coached womans softball, which I also participated in, bye keeping stats for him. Who am I??? Hhmmmmm, that can be kind of hard as I don't like to talk about myself. Lets see, I am kind (I think), a good listener, I love to talk (just ask my mom), I am a good pen pal to write to because you will always get a reply from me. I am a believer in honesty, which is hard because there are so many dishonest people in thie world today. I also believe in values. With that, I feel that everyone should have standards for themselves. If you believe in something, stick to it. Don't let someone tell you what you should believe or do! I am also someone who wants what is best for others. I also belive that humor is the best medicine. Why not laugh once in a while, it can make you feel so much better. I also like people who are "themselves". Nothing worse than someone who thinks or acts like they are better than the person next to them. And one last thing, I don't believe that "money" buys one happiness, love or friends. We are too materialized in todays society and it really is sad when one thinks that they have to "buy" happiness, love or friends. Just be who you are and if one does not like you for that reason, well then they were not meant to be your friend from the start. My life is filled with work, spending time with my boyfriend and our dog, Honey. Honey is such a mess, but the sweetest dog on earth. She is our pride and joy. My Boyfriend and I met while in a chat room. We had talked to each other, but never really got into any types of subjects, just the casual "Hi" and "Bye" stuff. From what he told me, he said that from the looks of my nick, he knew he had to try and strike up a conversation because of having the year 63 with my nick. See, he is exactly, to the date, one year older than me and so, one day in the chat room, someone asked him when his birthday was and when he replied, I said "No way" and he said "yes way, why?" So that is how we started to talk. After that day, we just clicked and the rest is history. We still talk about that. Kind of a shocker to meet someone with the same birthday. We are so opposite in so many ways, but yet we have so much in common that we just click. With God in our lives, he must have had a reason for our meeting. Well that is it about me and my life. You can see everything else through my web pages. Thanks for stopping by and visiting and please take some time to sign my guest book before you leave! One last thing before I close. Everyone has a responsibility to report child abuse when they have witnessed it. We also have a responsibility to report child abuse if we know of someone that has done it. Once a child abusers, always a child abuser, they never change and don't think for a minute that they will because it is the same thing as domestic violence. The people never change. Also, support spinal injuries. I have a cousin, whose son was attacked by a lion and tiger in 2005, will never run again, ride a bike or little alone, drive a car. He was only 9 years of age when this happened and now his future has been planned to live in a wheel chair with a respirator for the rest of his life due to the spinal cord being severed during the attack. Visit the Christopher Reeves Foundation web site as it is very informative. |
