Twas the night before Annual and what do you know? There was a secret Sponsor meeting chaired by Kevin Lowe.  Shelly called order and all turned about – but it was Barry who started to shout.  “We have no more money, cancel Annual!” he said – but then Sue Klokeid bopped him on the head.  “My daughter’s Commander – there will be none of that”.  Bless Margaret’s sweet soul who started passing the hat.  We need to raise more money to pay for the food.  “Dam those kids” George grumbled and started to brew.  “I know!” said Eric with a sly little grin.  “We’ll charge parents admission before they come in.”  If they want to see their little cadets shine – each give a cheque to Charmaine Vantine.  “Now I‘m sick of calling all those busy people”.  Come on Lynn, Barry promised this job will be simple.  Just ask for more money how hard can it be?  Or do you need a hand from Mrs Cafferky?

Now Margi, now Sally, now Darlene – that’s three.  Let’s start baking our Annual Cookies.  They’ve gotta be good then you need to dress smartly.  For you are responsible for the Review Party.  They like the coffee hot and get it in a jiffy – for with the hanger doors open it’s definitely chilly.

Now who could forget about Jaana and Kerry – by the way where are they during all of this frenzy?  “Check the pool,” Doug shouted “I can see them from here”.  Doug get off the barn roof and grab another beer.

Well with Annual saved – let’s get on with the show.  Wait shouldn’t we tell Pete, our wonderful CO?  Ahh Barry shrugged “Pete doesn’t really care, as long as no parents are getting in his hair.  Capt Dalley will help us with all the details – who else knows where to put all the chairs”.  And with that Kevin called the meeting to an end – get some sleep everyone, tomorrow is when the fun will begin.
