as we sat in fear
waiting for the bad news
we were sure to hear
what were great towers
now piles of rubble
we thought of this
as we were in trouble
think of those in the towers
that died in the crash
think of the side of the pentagon
now a pile of ash

a day afganistan will regret
the day that everyone feared
when the twin towers disapeared
loyal firefighters risked there lives
many did not come out alive
a sad day for america's nation
as people jumped out windows in desperation
many watched the news and cried
as they saw people that jumped out of windows and died
afgans did it they laughed and ran
we'll find bin laden we'll do the best we can
so everyone give america a hand
