| We All Lose |
| Right now I feel as though I could die As I fall upon my bed and cry Taken away, so young and so soon Those left behind are all in gloom But I've gotta get through it, gotta move on As I sit and think 'another loved one now gone' I miss then so much, still hold them so dear Wonder what happened - if they felt pain and fear Still can't believe it, how can it be true? Life seems unfair, heart-wrenching, and cruel Always those people who made life so grand The risk-takers who took suc a great stand Against life, human nature, injustice itself Now they're immobile, like dolls on a shelf Always has to be the ones we miss so much Without them we feel lost, out-of-touch The ones who will be remember and missed The ones we spoke kindly about, rarely dissed We all love, we all live, in the end we all lose We miss them so much, our hearts but a bruise So we ponder it all, where do we go in the end? Depends on your beliefs, yes, it all depends Those people we miss, those places we fear Think about death, hope it's not near And now this is it, this is forever, the end For everyone ends up right where they begin |
