| Path to Nowhere |
| Today was so great, brought such a smile And my life seemed totally worthwhile But what of tomorrow, what'll it be? Remember the best things in life are free Thinking of yesterday brings some regrets You miss old people, old places, old pets Wonder if you made the right choice Or listened unfairly to only your own voice You may never know - time changes everything Some causes are lost, things lose their meaning Can you get lost on the path to nowhere? Yes, your fears and ghosts are everywhere Thinking back you feel bad, somewhat sorry Yesterday's dreams are now dulled and blurry Wish you could change then, those days of old But in the end, fate will always take its toll Yesterday was good, yesterday was bad Concentrate on tomorrow, it's yet to be had No matter how you wish the story would change The ending will always end up being the same You can give it up, let the past slip away Tomorrow will always bring another day Full of questions, unanswered in passing Try to forget, keep on smiling and laughing |
