| He looks at you, smiles that smile Makes your life seem totally worthwhile You are happy, now, forever Not a care reaches you at this level Nothing's tense, all's just fine You wanna live like this your whole life You gaze into each other's eyes Both knowing the time is right Then he gets down on his knees, Looks up, asks "Will you marry me?" So deeply in love, heart a-flutter A quiet "I love you!" you mutter A tumult of joy, happiness abound Soon to eachother you will be bound And now it's over, all is still Never again will you get such a thrill First time in love, first time alive You're so happy you could cry Romantic nights, long happy sighs Never will you say goodbye |
