| Destructivity |
| So sharp was the edge, intense its feel And we felt the rush, numbingly surreal Loved the edge, the overwhelming thrill Loved not just being run-of-the-mill What was the 'plus', try and explain Knowing that you were against the grain Gave you the feeling that you were free And you could do whatever you pleased Took another sip of the strong booze Felt like you had nothing to lost When really you knew all was at stake Eventually reality seemed so fake Remember what I lived for, the big rush Back when my life depended on sheer luck See how far I could go without getting caught I lived for the adrenaline rush that it brought For me it was just an exciting way of life Make your decision, hope to choose right Some others were there just to be "cool" Either way, destructivity will always rule |
