The two girls got off to a rough start, but soon became friends, relying on each other to get by on the streets. When they became teenagers they were introduced to smuggling through Tabby's boyfriend, Tristin. The two girls became partners, splitting their loot until they started working for a man named Kalex Wrenek. After a while the trio started making names for themselves. When Kat was 17 she stubled into the Jedi and recieved training. Shortly after she attained the rank of Knight she met a man named Han Skywalker. Though she became friends with the man she never thought much would come of it. She continued her persuits as a Jedi Knight until Han told her he was in love with her. Unwilling to accept that she denied that possibility until he made a bet with her. If he could withstand her for a week she would agree to marry him. Kat agreed, trusting her Corellian luck to hold out against the man from Tattoine. It failed. At the end of the week Kat agreed to keep her word and they were engaged. Shortly after that happened Kat got word that both her sisters, the remaining family that she had left were killed. Unable to cope with that at the time Kat left Han and returned to Tabby and Kalex smuggling. Shortly after she returned she was cought by a mercenary group hunting the renegade Jedi and her family. Out numbered and cought in a ysalmari field, Kat was captured. During her captivity she was raped, the result of that encounter was her son, Jace. When she finnaly got away and returned to Tabby and Kalex, she hid for a month, not venturing out until she could resolve what to do. Knowing she couldn't take the chance of not smuggling for a long peroid of time, Kat returned to smuggling for the duration of her pregnancy. She halted her smuggling activities just before Jace was born and didn't venture back until he was a year old. She would take the boy with her on runs she new wouldn't bring him to danger or leave him in the care of Tabby and Kalex. The boy was born on the year aniversery of her sisters' death. To Kat he represented hope for the future and the pain of the past. Just after Jace turned two Kat was cought again, prepared this time for an assult like what happened last time she was unprepared for being shot from behind once in the ysalmari field. Again during that encounter she was raped, the result was her second pregnancy with her daughter, Michael. A week after that encounter Kat escaped again and went back to Tabby and Kalex. Instead, this time she left Jace in their care and went to Tattoine where she met up with her old friend, Han Skywalker, again. After a brief discussion, Han cought her off gaurd by asking about the baby growing inside her. Kat told little of what happened to her to Han and they traveled back to Nar Shadda where Han met Jace and they made another bet. If Jace liked him they would get married. Kat agreed, knowing Jace would like Han and shortly after they were engaged. Now their happily married, five months later, and a month early, Kat had her daughter Michel. It wasn't an easy birth and both Kat and Michel were almost lost during labor. Now Michel is a happy newborn girl and Kat hopes Han will adopt Jace and Michael, but that's the future, for now they have to deal with the present. |
