Their birth father dissapeared shortly after the twins were born, and their god-father, Rocky Malmon took his place. Cira's childhood was a fairly easy one, she grew up in the Alliance, and her god-father, being the head of the Star Fighter Corps at the time taught her to fly as she grew up. Though he was a little over protective of his god-daughter, Cira enjoyed flying and it soon became her life. During this time her mother also taught her the Jedi ways, Cira began to use the Force in her flying making her better than some of the other pilots. When Cira turned 18 she and a childhood friend, Martin Starwill, were married. All was well at first until Cira joined the SFC to fly, and her husband began to creep her out way to much. Though she used her being in the SFC and wanting no ties if something happened it was her husbands actions after they were married that bothered her and forced her to leave. She had a bit of a fight with Jedi Master Dash Knight over being alowed to fly, especialy in Rogue Squadron when she was 18, but Rocky over ruled Dash and at the age of 18 Cira became the exucitive officer of Rogue Squadron. That same year, she and her brother went to a party where Cira met Gerald Devoncroix. No thanks to her brother she had been set up for the night and the two of them spent most of the party discussing their jobs and goals. Gerald was head of the SFC in the Farscape republic at the time. Cira returned to the Alliance, but after a year she dissapeared, after her mother got sick and was frozen to try and heal the illness killing her, to Farscape to sort her thoughts and feelings. Once again she met up with Gerald and throughout her "vacation" they were together and began courting. Cira finnaly returned to the Alliance after two weeks and began to think things over. A year later, just after her mother died, she left the Alliance and joined the Farscape Republic Star Fighter Corps. When she was twenty years old she married Gerald Devoncroix and became the Commanding Officer of Phoenix Squadron, Farscape's most eliet squadron. After a year of marriage Gerald convinced Cira to have a child and they had a daughter, Jenica. Cira was both happy and terrified when she had a child. She had never fully delt with her mother's death, nor her god-father's dissapearnce. Since she lost both of them she vowed never to be with the Jedi, along with the issues she still has with Dash Knight. Some part of her believes that he killed her mother, even though that proably isn't the case. Just after Jenica turned four Gerald dissapeared and Cira started the slow slide into depression after losing everyone she ever loved. Now her close alliance friends are in command of Farscape and Rocky's brother, Kenneth, has done what he could to make her feel part of his family. A short time later her husband, Gerald, returned with his brother Garret. Cira now faces new challenges helping her brother-in-law get settled in and a possible pregnancy in the near future. |
