Kat turned the remote off. She was sore, but that was to be expected since she had been working with the remote for nearly five hours. She didn't try to ease the pain with the Jedi technique either. Right now the soreness was all she had to keep her aware of both her surroundings and her feelings. Suddenly tears threatened to overwhelm her again...

Evna made her way to her ship and started off towards Nar Shadda. She knew just how to catch the Jedi. Friends for a smuggler were very important... especially in a fire fight...

"Finally! We made it!" Rika exclaimed.

"We're not home free yet!" Kat commented as her ship entered the atmosphere.

"Unidentified ship, please transmit proper landing codes," a voice came over the com.

"Sorry not today!" Kat replied and focused on making the speaker think there was no ship entering the atmosphere. Kira sat in the co-pilot seat adjusting things here and there helping the ship fly smoothly as Kat pulled evasive maneuvers and set the ship down on the planet.

"Here ya go," Kat told them hitting the exit ramp release.

"Thank you," Lana replied.

"Lilathera!" Kira asked "Yes, Kira?" Lilly replied.

"I would like to stay with Kat for a while . . ." Kira trailed off.

"I wouldn't stop you, I felt that one of you would be leaving us at one point or another," Lilly smiled. "Go, we will meet up again someday!" And with that Lilathera, Rika, Lana, and Kasandra walked off.

"Why did you stay?" Kat asked.

"Because . . . I don't know. I just have this feeling that you'll need a true friend sometime in the near future . . ." Kira answered.

"Thank you, but you don't have to, and if you do you're gonna need to disguise your self like I did."

"I know, I'll lose the lightsaber, do you have a place to hide it?"

"Yes, you can keep it here," Kat opened a secret compartment. "With my lightsaber, and I have something to show you when we take off!"

At that Kat and Kira took off and hurried into hyperspace.

"What did you want to show me?" Kira asked.

"Come with me," Kat replied and showed her to the very back of the ship. "This is my star room. I meditate here. It's sealed off in case it is shot at or suddenly leaks atmosphere."

"I can see your reason for having it," Kira commented. Kat walked out of the room and showed Kira another part of the ship.

"There are remotes every where," Kat ignited her twin bladed saber suddenly, fiery blue-purple blades shot out and the remote was activated. The remote fired and Kat deflected the shots easily Kira had to dodge a couple. Kat deactivated her lightsaber and the remote turned off. "That was the other thing I wanted to show you. I have both my and my former Master's sabers so it would be preferable to use those."

"Alright, You seemed to be restless on the way here, was that because you didn't feel comfortable using the remotes?"

"That was part of it. If you'll excuse me It's been a while since I had a chance to meditate"

Kira decided to let it go, and watched Kat go to her star room to meditate. She sighed. Things were going to get interesting!

Kat walked into the star room. Stars were projected on every wall since she was in hyperspace. She fell into a trance immediately.

Suddenly a vision opened before her. There was a twenty-one year old, white furred Lemorian female, her arctic fox features seemed to give off a sense of hope that Kat had never seen in anyone before...

She stood there with a lightsaber that seemed to glow in radiant colors, and along side her was a two-meter tall green dragon. Kat couldn't tell how old he was, and he also held a lightsaber. They looked about ready to go to battle, but not with each other, rather with some unseen enemy.

As suddenly as the vision appeared it stopped. Kat stood up and looked at the various stars that surrounded her, who were those two? What were they doing there? Many questions buzzed through her head.

She would have to find out, and soon. Things were stirring in the force.

"Kira!" Kat yelled.

"Yes Kat?" Kira replied entering the room.

"Have you ever seen a white furred Lemorian Jedi before? Arctic fox features, about twenty-one years to date? Jedi, with a rainbow colored saber?"

"No, I can't say that I have . . . Oh wait! That might be Zannah Lyles! I never met her, but she was training on Thantella II when I was there. I thinks she's the crown princess of Lemoria Prime. Very stubborn person"

"Ok how 'bout a two-meter tall green dragon? Also a Jedi?"

"Hmmm, that might be T'dahn Kre'ael. He was there too, in fact I think he was the one who warned us all when the attack was coming!"

"Attack?"

"Thantella II had a hidden Jedi academy. A young male named Luke Skywalker infiltrated the academy and destroyed it. I was there for only a few months and had left just before it was taken down. Many Jedi were killed there."

"I'm sorry," Kat replied.

"That was in the past, we need to concentrate on the future. How did you get those descriptions of Zannah and T'dahn, anyway?"

"I had a vision, they were just standing there, ready to do battle with someone . . ." Kat drifted off.

"Did you see who?"

"No, I didn't,"

"We have to find them-"

"No, I think they can handle whatever comes their way. It's highly doubtfull, but if we run into them we can warn 'em ok?"

"Alright," Kira gave in.

"Go-" Kat started, but the alarm went off. "Wha-!" Kat ran to the cockpit. "We're being pulled out of hyperspace!" Kat and Kira started pulling the levers that helped the process so they wouldn't be puled to shreds and started preparing for evasive maneuvers.

"Imp Star Destroyer up ahead!" Kira reported.

"Evasive!" Kat replied. "NOW!"

"Some one is on that ship!"

"A lot of someone's are on that ship!"

"You know what I mean!"

"Yea, I can feel him to. Setting a new course. Prepare for

hyperspace . . ." 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . ."Now!" Kat pulled the lever, but nothing happened. They were caught in a tractor beam. "Kira launch one of the torpedoes into the tractor beam!"

"Launching," Kira replied. The moment the torpedo hit and the tractor beam shut down, Kat pulled the lever, and they jumped into the safety of hyperspace once agian.

He walked up timidly, his fear overpowering him. Just his luck he had to deliver the news that the ship had escaped. He knew he was about to die. "They escaped m-" He didn't get any farther.

Vader had sensed the young male coming up behind him and didn't need him to say any more. He Force-choked him and waited until the life slowly bled out of him. "I know," he answered as he released the youth barely alive. "Remove him," he said.

"Where are we going now?" Kira asked.

Kat sat in the pilot seat and was staring off into space. "Huh? Oh, we're headed to Thilan, it's a small planet on the rim. I was in training to be a Jedi there," sadness filled Kat's voice.

Kira let it go, Kat would tell her in her own time. She walked to the back to fix something to eat, it was going to be a long trip.

Kira wondered at her own past. She had the memories that the cloning process had given her, and she had an easier time avoiding the dark side, but not Kat. She didn't have that, but then again she was stubborn and strong willed. She hadn't been. She had turned because she wanted power, the power to have revenge on her people for making her an outcast. And now, even though she was a clone, she had a second chance to try and make things right. She had great hope for Kat.

"Do we know where they're headed?" Luke asked.

"We have a good idea, but we're not entirely sure."

"Follow all possible leads!" He ordered.

"Yes, Lord Skywalker."

The alarm went off waking Kat from a restless sleep. She pulled the lever and the ship came out of hyperspace right in front of a green-blue planet.

"Is that the planet?" Kira asked.

Kat nodded her head and continued to prepare to land. She decided to land where the ship had been built, that way they'd have shelter, if the house were still there.

"It's beautiful here."

"Yea," Kat replied as they walked through the tall grasses. "This grass used to be kept neatly cut, it would grow so fast that it had to be cut every other day!" Kat laughed. "I was brought here when I was eleven. Found on the streets of Corellia."

"What happened that forced you to Nar Shadda?"

"I . . . I don't really want to talk about it . . ." Kat replied.

"Forgive me," Kira answered as they entered the house.

Sam Stone sat in the back of his ship watching the monitor. He knew that the Jedi would return. He somehow hadn't expected it to be a female though. The cameras and bugs he'd placed in the old house were working perfectly. Now he knew who the prey was and all that was left was to catch her. Her friend appeared to be a Jedi also, maybe he'd get extra for turning her in too.

Sam left the ship and started out towards the old house. He'd figure something out along the way.

"Lord Skywalker," one of the techs yelled.

"Yes?" Skywalker replied.

"We've pulled about five possibilities."

"Where are they?"

"Three are nearby and the other two are on the Outer Rim."

"What are the names of the Rim worlds?"

"Krynos and Thilan, sir."

"Good work. Which one of the Rim is closest?"

"Thilan, sir"

"Set a course for Thilan then!"

"Yes sir."

Kat left Kira and walked into her old room, something was different about it, she couldn't place it, but it was there. She walked around the room carefully. The room was a mess, but that was the way it usually was.

"Kat lookout this!" Kira yelled from another room.

Kat looked up from what she was doing and ran to Kira, "What is it?"

"I think someone's been here after you left!"

Kat looked at what Kira had in her hand. She had a bug and a tiny camera, "We'd better get outta here! These are new, which means someone could be on their way!"

"I'm with you!" Kira replied.

Kat ran out of the house and to the ship. She kept her face expressionless. Kira could probably feel how she was feeling, but that didn't mean she had to show it. The engines whined as Kat started them. Kira ran into the cockpit to help, but found her job was already done. Kat pulled the ship into orbit and sped off.

Sam entered the building, but he already knew that no one was there. He cursed in several languages before heading back to his ship. They had left the planet, and there was nothing he could do now.
