"Everything"
Everything I’ve wished for,
Everything I’ve dreamed,
Everything I’ve thought life to be,
Is everything it seemed.
Nothing ever changes,
It always stays the same,
I can’t go on like this forever,
You never liked the fame,
Is there really hope?
Is there peace for my heart?
The answer to these questions,
May tear my life apart.
Hope is found in Christ,
And peace is there too,
I open up my eyes,
And let His grace come through.
To everything there is an answer,
This I now do see,
And now nothing may deceive me,
Not even me.
