Whispering in his ear, �What�s going on here?�
�Buffy, this is Xander, Xander this is Buffy Summers, the girl I was telling you about. Buffy, Xander is a good friend of mine and was with me last night when I got the news late.�
�What news?� She asked puzzled for a lot had happened last night.
�Riley, then your Mom kicking you out and all. Giles called and told me everything around 1am. Buffy are you ok?� Angel asked her.
�As well as things can be. Angel what�s going on here?�
�Well, we were thinking that if you want to you could move in with me. I mean it would be a big step and all, but you would be out on your own. I mean I love you a lot, and we are very close, but I think we should do this.�
�I have to get through my open house first. It�s tomorrow, Angel, please let me get through that and then maybe.�

The Next day
All of Buffy�s family was there, all ten of them showed up. Her father was still nowhere to be seen. He had told her that he might not be able to make it, so she shouldn�t get her hopes up.
It was nothing but the few family members, and friends of the family or Joyce�s friends. Faith and her boyfriend Lindsey stopped by, after all he had done she was still dating him, must be something there.
Faith walked up to Buffy and whispered to her, �Angel said he would be here as soon as he could get your gift taken care of.�
Faith disappeared in to the small crowd to get some food. Buffy sat down at the table, when her best friend walked in the door. Willow had Oz on her arm and they looked happier then any of them ever could.
Buffy smiled and knew right away what the two of them had done. Hugging Willow she let her around to look at all the stuff Buffy had gotten before she had moved to the new school.
Buffy turned her head when she heard Joyce start to swear. Riley and Spike walked in to the door. But how, I mean they were both in jail and they belonged there. They walked right in and sat down in the chairs. Both smiled at each other when they saw Buffy�s eye look around.
�He can�t save you Buff, you�re going to pay for your sins today one way or another.� Spike laughed as every one in the room started to leave, telling Joyce their good byes many of the guests left the party.
When Faith peaked her head, she saw shocked, but knew there was going to be a problem with these guys if they did not get the fuck out of there soon. Angel was on his way and he was going to make today perfect for Buffy, and these two ass holes were in for the fight of their lives.
Faith walked up next to Buffy as Lindsey stopped dead in his tracks.
�Riley? Riley Finn, you old son of a bitch, what are you doing here?� Lindsey asked Riley who laughed when he saw Lindsey.
�God you must have fucked a lot of people, Buffy. Though Lindsey was always up for a good fucking. Is this the one you could never remember Linds?� Riley asked laughing harder at the poor girls own misfortune.
�Could be I was to drunk to even remember that night. Got me in to a lot of trouble, you know that accident happened the same night.� Lindsey said, putting his arm around Faith.
Faith moved away from him, taking Buffy by the hand and leading her to the other side of the room, where Willow was seated. Joyce followed walking up to Buffy and shaking her head and fist.
�Why on earth would you invite those two pigs to your open house, hmm? Tell me Buffy.�
�Mom, I did not ask them to come. For God fucking sakes you asked Riley to come into our home. How do I know you did not invite him here?� Buffy said, turning away from her mother.
Joyce walked back to the three boys, as they were all making jokes and wise cracks about Buffy. �
Please dear God, tell me this is part of your plan? You are crashing MY party.� Joyce spoke softly to Riley.
�Take a chill pill Ms. S, it is all part of the plan. As soon as Angel gets here, one of us with be all over Buffy like we�ll want her. And it will piss Angel off so much he might just leave her. End of plan right there, we won�t even have to take drastic measures.� Spike said, getting up and walking over to get food.
Faith and Willow had Buffy in the corner as they tried to comfort her and make her stop crying. Buffy kept saying something about �poor Angel� and �its all my fault.� Faith kept trying Angel on his cell, but he would not pick up.
Standing in the door way was a black hair, man. Willow remembered him from the other day at her house, and Faith knew him right away. Xander had come to wish Buffy well, and to talk with Angel.
Walking in he passed the three men, making small talk, all three looked up at him. Walking right in behind Xander was Giles, with a small stuffed teddy bear. Giles just about dropped the teddy bear when he saw Spike, and Riley sitting at the table talking and eating Buffy�s cake.
Both men came strolling right back to the back corner where Buffy stayed put. Putting his arms around Buffy, Giles looked around to find Joyce. She was nowhere to be seen. He knew she would have disappeared, and if he was right she had a hand in this some how.
Joyce had called him, asking him ideas on how to get Angel out of Buffy�s life and Buffy back in to hers. Giles had told her to not mess with things, if she had tried to drive Angel always it would do more hard to Buffy�s and hers relationship.
Giles and Xander talked with Faith and Willow and found out just what had happened. Giles wanted to find a way to figure out how to deal with these three or two with out problems. Xander wanted to have Buffy run.
Faith wanted a fight, she was way beyond pissed at Lindsey and the other two really pissed her off just because. Willow wanted to wait and see what Angel would do, and wanted Buffy to make her own choice. Just as Buffy stood and walked to find her mother, another man appeared at the door.
�Hey Baby girl, how are you doing?� Hank asked her.
�Dad? How? Why? What are you doing here?�
�Your mom called and said you might need my help, and she wanted me to meet the new guy in your life.� Hank asked looking at the really small crowed of people in the hall. �Where is your mother?�
�I have no clue, and this is not a good time for you to be here. I mean I guess and all, but I have to deal with something. I will see you later.� With that Buffy was out the door and heading for her car.
She had put her key in the door, when she felt a hand cover her mouth. She went to scream as the person turned her around fast. She came face to face with Angel. He put a finger to his lips and then took her hand. Leading her to the back of the hall, he hugged her tight in his arms.
�I saw Spike�s car and knew something bad was up. So I listened in as they where laughing. They want me to go in, so they can make you seem bad. They want me to leave you.�
�But why, Angel?� She asked squeezing her arms around him.
�Because your mother does not like me, and hates not having you in her life. She loves control remember that. She called Rileym and Riley and Spike got together to try and tear us apart. But nothing they could do would. I have a plan, just follow me and remember what ever is said is not the real me it�s the actor in me today. Ok?� Angel kissed her forehead.
�Ok.�
Leading Angel in to the hall, she walked right over to Hank who was talking with Giles about something.
�Dad, this is Angel the man in my life.�
�Well Angel, it�s nice to finally meet you. So tell me what is it about my daughter you like so much?�
�Oh Mr. Summers, she is the most amazing, wonderful, beautiful woman to work the face of earth. And I can trust her with all my heart.� Angel said, putting his arm around Buffy.
Just as he put his arm around her, Spike slipped up next to her, putting his hand in hers. Whispering little things in her ear, he reached around to kiss her lips. Stabbing his tongue in to her mouth he pulled away.
�Hey baby, sorry I who is this?� Spike asked pointing to Hank.
�Get away from me Spike.�
�Oh come on lover, you will fuck the old dude, but not me? Come on, just tell me who your secret lover is you have been hiding.� Spike stuck his hand out to Hank.
�Bet she sucks you good, she�s been a little animal in bed for me ever since I decided not to knock her up.� Spike said laughing.
�Spike, get the hell out of here now, before you get hurt.� Angel said, coming up behind Spike, putting his hand on Spike�s shoulder.
�Get your hands off me man. And don�t be fucking around with my girl any more, or I will have to kick your ass.� Spike shouted as he pushed Angel�s hand off his shoulder.
�Boys, now don�t fight. Buffy, who are you dating? I mean, honey you�re only human, and you should only have one boyfriend at a time.� Hank remarked.
�Angel is my boyfriend, Dad. Spike is an ex-boyfriend, that Mom asked to drive Angel way from me. But sorry, Spikey, no matter what you do nothing will make Angel leave me.�
�Nothing, what about someone?� Riley said coming up behind her.
�What is this, guy fest Buffy? Who are you dating?� Hank asked.
A woman walked through the door, as she smiled. The guys plan was working and soon she would have Angel all to herself. She wanted to make him eat his words about never dating her.
Walking over to him, Cordelia slipped her arm in to Angel�s. Kissing his shoulder she flashed Buffy a smile.
�Sorry I am late honey, I had to get gas. So what did I miss?� Cordelia asked Angel.
�CORDELIA! Ok what the fuck is going on here. All four of you are in the mix? Hmmm what tell me please, you�re confusing me.� Buffy screamed.
�I am no part of this.� Lindsey spoke up, before Faith whacked him over the back of the head.
�EVERYONE LEAVE!� Buffy shouted, as she walked out the door and finally made it to her car.
Starting the engine she was out of the parking lot before any one made it out the door. Driving down the road she speed up, driving seemed to make her feel better, and she needed something to make the pain go away.

Midnight At Angel�s Apartment
The phone rang.
�Hello?� Angel answered right away, he hoped and prayed it was Buffy.
She had left and no one had heard a word from her.
�Hello, Angel its Xander. I just got news from the hospital, they needed me to come in and check something out. Something about a green jimmy and a young girl was in a bad accident. I don�t know her condition until I get there, but pal, I think it could be Buffy. And if they are calling me in it can�t be good.�
�God, don�t let her be dead. I am on my way down.�
