Joyce and Buffy worked on getting Buffy in to a new school, and getting her a
new life. Joyce went house hunting while Buffy started seeing Jenny every day for
consuling. It seemed to be helping, but Buffy�s life had total changed. No car, no phone,
no internet, no going out at night, and she had no real friends to help her through this
problem.
Joyce found a lovely home in Sunnydale and in weeks they were moving in. Buffy
started Sunnydale high school the beging of the second semester. Buffy walked to school
from where her new house was, she like beeing so close to it. She knew that kids at this
school would know who she was but did not care, she could change there mind of her. Or
at lest try.
Her first day sucked more then any thing, Buffy so badly wanted to call Spike just
to be wanted by him. But Spike was off limits acording to her mother. But she survied
until lunch that is. At lunch she had no were to go, so she ended up in the library eating
her lunch and email Spike. She so badly wanted him to know what had happed. She felt
something for him but chould not tell her self that he was bad.
After lunch she was in a class with all seniors. Only one person talked to her, the
guy in front of her. He was nice to her and showed her the notes that they had taken the
first day, the day she missed. She made it through the class, with only one more to go.
She walked in to her fifth hour class, Shakespeare, she loved his plays. They way he
talked about love she wished she could fall in love. She sat down at the front desk, and
started to talk with the boy next to her. His name was Xander and he kept asking her
questions. She then talked to the teacher some lady she thought was weird.
A small short red head girl walked in to the class room and sat down behind Buffy.
The bell rang and the teacher started class. She told them they would be working on a
project in pairs on the play �A Midsummer Nights Dream.� And they would have to do it
in parterns. Buffy looked over at Xander, but he was talking to one of the guys next to
him. She frowned, every one seemed to have a partner but her. Buffy felt a small tap on
her shoulder and turned around.
�Hi, I am Willow, what�s yours?� The red head asked Buffy.
�Who me, oh my names Buffy, Hi.� Buffy said starting to turn back around.

Buffy and Willow were not septreated from that day on. They worked on every
project together in Shakespeare class. Willow showed Buffy the story she was writing,
and Buffy total feel in love with it, pushing Willow to write more. Buffy finally one day
told Willow the story of her life. To Buffy�s amazment Willow was not scared away.
Willow and Buffy started hanging out after class and even spending the night at

Willow could not belive it, she didnt not understand why Buffy had gone back to
her old life. Buffy told Willow that it was becuase no matter how hard she tried to change
her life Joyce always was making it harder. Joyce seemed to hate Buffy, and when Buffy
started hanging out with Willow, Joyce hated it even more. Buffy was two weeks from
graduation and Joyce was making it harder then she every had.
Joyce was making Buffy�s life really hard. But it was just about to get harder. Buffy and Willow went out one night and ended up going to the Bronze. Buffy saw a lot of people she knew, but stayed away from them. She was heading up to the bar to get a coke, when some guy came up behind her. Buffy went home from school one day to find a message from a man named Giles, all he said was that he would be over to see Buffy in a few minutes. Buffy walked in to the living room, just as the door bell rang. Walking to the door she met a tall, older man. �Miss. Buffy Summers I guess?� Giles asked.
She nodded and showed him in. �I am Giles, I work for the sexual crimes department down town. We have heard about you and have something we need to ask you. We are wondering if you would be willing to help us catch some well bad guys.�
Buffy and Giles talked for an hour before Buffy finally told him she could not help. Buffy knew that if she was to help them, Riley would find out and hurt her some how. So she took Giles phone number and showed him out. She knew that some day he could help her and she would be able to help him.
Buffy wondered upstairs to call her friend Willow, she wanted to stay over there tonight, because Joyce was coming back to town and there was nothing that she hated worse then seeing her mother. So when Willow did not answer she decided that she could spend time looking for a job for summer. School would be out in two months and Buffy would be graduating. She need a job and needed one fast. She found a place called GHR and it was hiring. She called and they took her information and said they would call back.
Buffy went to school the next day, ready to take on the world. After her fight with Joyce, she did not care about a thing. She was sitting at lunch with Willow when her cell phone went off. It was Riley, he told her to be at her house in 15 minutes he need to see her. Scared she would be caught by her mom, she still had to do it. Pulling in to her drive, Riley pulled right in behind her. Walking up to her he pulled her in to the house and up the stairs.

�Hello, is Miss. Buffy Summers there by chance?� A man asked.

�Of course I would, but school wont be out for another week. Can I start in a week?�
�Yes you can, just stop by the office one day before then and fill out some paper work. It will be nice to have you on bored this summer Miss. Summers. Thank you and have a good night.�

The next week Buffy stopped by the office and went in. She saw a woman about two years older then her sitting behind a desk. A man standing next to her was talking and pointing to the computer showing her what to do.
�Hi my names Buffy Summers and I was told to come down to fill out paper work for the summer.�
