                             ACT ONE

       FADE IN:

       EXT. - VILLA LINED ROAD - ESTABLISH - DAY

       We see an extremely large and expensive gas-guzzler driving
       rather carelessly in an upscale neighbourhood. It begins to
       slow as it approaches some cameras and lights blocking the road.

       As it stops, a STATE POLICEMAN opens the door and forcibly
       removes the driver, a young celebrity we will come to know
       as LONDON. She poses for the cameras.

                             LONDON
                            (to state policeman)
                   So, like, who's party is this? 

       The STATE POLICEMAN pulls her over to the side of the road.
     
                             STATE POLICEMAN
                            (shakes head)
                   There's no party. The cameras are
                   the only thing that will get you
                   people to stop.

       She doesn't get angry at this news, instead she just shrugs
       it off, getting pouty for the camera. She drags a tiny dog
       out of a very expensive bag.

                             LONDON
                            (shows dog to cameras)
                   It's mister muffy. Ruff, Ruff.

       The STATE POLICEMAN stands directly between her and the PAPARAZZI.
       
                             STATE POLICEMAN
                            (official)
                   London Bailey, you are hereby charged
                   and convicted under section twenty nine
                   of the California State Celebrity Act.
                   Sentence to be carried out immediately.

       He takes two paces back and unholsters his weapon. She just
       smiles and waves to the cameras. Then he shoots her in the
       head.

       There is a slight 'OOOO' from the camera people as her body
       hits the ground. He takes one step forward, aims his weapon
       downward and fires again. A PAPARAZZI moves in for a quick
       interview.

                             PAPARAZZI
                    So Officer, why the second shot?
                    Was that the famous Coup De Grace?
    
                             STATE POLICEMAN
                            (correction)
                   No, it's subsection fourteen, the
                   'You and your Little Dog too', rule.

       The PAPARAZZI turns to the camera.

                             PAPARAZZI
                            (smiling) 
                   Thank you Officer. We'll be back to
                   more 'CELEBRITY ROADSIDE EXECUTIONS',
                   after these messages.
