A dream within a dream? D00D WTF LOL!!1!

Take this kiss upon the brow!

Being the total geek I am I based the design of this site around a poem. Written by one of the greatest and unhappiest American poets ever, Edgar Allen Poe ( 1809—1849 ). I love all his work but I found this poem to be particuarly enchanting. There are many ways you could interperate it. The way I take it is he's implying that life is a dream. Because life slips by so fast and so easy, and once in the past experiances are no longer tangible. But not any less real. Like a dream. Pretty, ne?

Kitsune bi?

I love this moniker for 2 reasons. Kitsune bi is japanese and translates to fox fire. Foxfire is the one of my all time favorite books by Joyce Carol Oates. Yes, I know another literature reference. EEK! Also, in Japanese lore Kitsune are something like fox spirits. Mysterious and mischievous they have many abilities. One of which being the power to create fire by rubbing their tails together. Kitsune bi. See, my real name isn't nearly that fascinating. =p
