Kitsune in Furcadia
In December of 2005, Kitsune had a rather unusual encounter in the waterfall cave near the glade in the northern forest of Yuriba. (More on that later) It resulted in her being sent on a rather unexpected journey to another world. Being a kitsune, and thus being accustomed to the concept of variant realities, it wasn't a big shock for her, but it's still quite a new experience, one which she hopes will lead to something good. The first stop on her 'trip' was a place called Furcadia.
Furcadia, for those not in the know, is a world of 'furres'. A place where anthromorphic animals of all kinds abound, and have built a society for themselves. Within the realm of Furcadia, many smaller dimensions exist, and the residents there practice a form of magic called 'Dream Weaving' by which they expand their reality, and create their own place, built from their dreams. Kitsune was soon to meet another of her kind, a kitsune named Ruphis who lead her to the dream of the Haven, a place she has come to think of as home while in Furcadia. While in Furcadia, Kitsune has been practicing her music, under the guidance of Ruphis, who specializes in magic of a musical nature. She has also begun the study of dream weaving, being tutored by Cinder Bear, the beautiful and kind hearted 'Rah' of the Haven. She hopes that this will aid her in learning to control and develop the innate powers of illusion and transformation kitsune have by nature.
Arrival in Furcadia:

I found my way to the end of the tunnel... It's a long story, tell ya later ~_^ Anyway, when I came out... WOW! There were all kinds of people there, only.. they weren't people. They were animals, all kinds, walking around and talking, fur and feathers, and scales everywhere I looked! It was weird, I mean, we have a few kitsune and a wolf or two in Yuriba, even a few other kinds, but most of them are nearly human, just ears and tails on a human body. This was WAY different. I looked around and before you know it, I was totally lost T_T I had no idea where I was, or how to get back to the tunnel home. There were so many furres (that's what they call themselves) rushing here and there, I couldn't get my bearings. Just when I was about to give up and cry, I heard a voice say...
"Hey, another kitsune!! Cool!"
I looked up, and there was a three-tail male standing in front of me. He said his name was Ruphis. I guess he could tell this was all a little too much for me, so he took me aside and offered to show me the way to a quiet place where I could find some friends and be safe. I followed him to the Haven, and met a bunch of his friends there. So far, I really like it here. The Haven is a beautiful place, and the furres there are all nice to me. I've learned how to get back there whenever I need to, so it's a good place to call home while I explore the rest of Furcadia. Some of this world isn't so nice, and I've met some mean furres, but I always feel safe back at the Haven, and everyone's sweet to me there. *grins* Especially Cinder. She took me in right away and has been very nice. She's teaching me dream weaving, and helping me figure out dragonspeak (that's the language that the dreams here use to activate magical effects) She's cute too ~_^ I miss my friends back in Yuriba, but I really like it here, and I think it'll be a good place for me to learn and grow. After all, that's what she (the kitsune who sent me on this trip) said I was supposed to be doing.
Cinder Bear
The kind hearted Rah of the Haven, Cinder welcomed me and has done a lot to ease my transition. She's teaching me Dream Weaving and Dragonspeak.
Gental Soul
A friendly feline who has become a good friend. He's really smart and has helped me a bit with studying Dragonspeak.
Ruphis
My first friend in Furcadia, he lead me to the Haven, and has been helping me with my study of music and musical magics.
Little Lilac
Another sweet feline. She's really nice, and Cinder seems to think we'd be a good team for Dreamweaving because our tallents compliment each other's.
