Strange and angsty things have transpired in Kitsune's relationship with Juliet (AKA Athena). Here's the cliffnotes ~_^
Athena actually died in an accident years ago, saving her Beloved Juliet's life. Juliet, unable to live with the loss sought to bring Athena back by taking on her persona. Athena's soul, trapped and unable to rest because of her ties to Juliet finally managed to manifest and ask for Kitsune's help (This was a really stressful time for Kitu) Meanwhile, Alicia's insanity got worse, and she finally ended up trying to take her own life. Athena, seeing her chance for release used her life energy to heal Alicia (Curing her insanity as a by-product) and giving Juliet a new love to take her place. Juliet is still dealing with Athena's passing, but no longer trying to hold her spirit here, and Athena has found peace knowing her love has someone to ease her pain.
Kitsune now proudly wears Athena's old leather jacket, given to her by Juliet to remember her by.
Reiko is a winged human, much like Lizz. Kitsune was introduced to her by Lizz shortly before her unexpected "trip", and the two began dating. Kitsune has become very close to Reiko, and the two are slowly building up strong relationship. They declared their love for each other shortly after Kitsune's return, and spend as much time together as possible. Like her relationship with Lizz, the fact that Reiko was already involved complicates things, especially since her girlfriend Mai doesn't really approve of Reiko dating others... But they're working through the rough spots and hope to be very happy together.
Update:
Rekio seems to be having some sanity issues (Ick, drama :P) and she and Kitsune are not actively dating at this time. Reiko is trying to reconcile and get back together, but Kitsune is uncertain. However she has said that she's willing to give Reiko a chance to win back her trust.
Kitsune became friends with Nagisa Vendaris and her wife Lynn during her brief romance with Breisleach. Though things didn't work out with Breis, the Vendarises are still close friends and Kitu can always count on Nagi for a shoulder to lean on, and a sympathetic ear. As for Lynn, well she's a great listener, and can be counted on for some ear sctritching too ^_^ They're both bearers of the Angel blessing, and Nagi spends almost all her time in that form, though it did cause some mild complications (And one big scare) during her pregnancy.
In late December, shortly before Kitsune returned from her trip, Nagisa gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that she and Lynn have named Ninorian. Kitu thinks the baby is simply adorable, and never tires of playing peekaboo, or making silly faces to amuse the baby ^_^
A nine-tailed kitsune woman who is the High Priestess of the Island's likely oldest faith, Kitsune has had a crush on Breis for quite some time. Keeping it a secret for several months, and then gradually revealing only to her closest friends that she was interested in someone. She was eventually forced to confess to Breis when her sister Ryo, and her friend Zana, dragged her across the village center and wouldn't let her run away till she told Breis how she felt.
Much to her surprise, Breis seemed not only amused by her confession, but was actually interested in pursuing the matter. To make a long story short, things didn't work out, mostly due to the difference in the ages and experience of the two. Kitu's heart was broken, a fact not made any less painful by Breis beginning a relationship with the Demoness Irriel. However, after taking some time to grieve, and giving it some thought with a clear head, Kitsune realized that it was for the best, and she has renewed her friendship with Breis, happy to have had the chance to try, and even happier for the great friend she has now... One that she would never have gotten close to if not for the impulsive actions of her sis and Zana ^_^
