The Perks: He's a chain-smoking student with a Kansai accent... what's not to like about him? I get to carry my shotgun around. I don't have to dress up like the rest of the BR crowd.

The Problems: Most conventions are frowning on airsoft guns now. Not all of that blood is paint.

The SCARY: I accidentally wore this costume to Border's after FANIME ended. Oddly enough, I was there to pick up the Battle Royale novel.

Costume Background: I've been a fan of BR since I saw it at Fanime 2002. I wanted to cosplay as one of the regular students but none of them interested me. After seeing Enishi as Kiriyama, I decided to cosplay the other transfer student Kawada.

Comments: The shotgun cost more than all the other parts combined. I'll add more blood and other signs of wear and tear the more I cosplay him.

Traveling Valentine now cosplays as the lovely couple Keiko and Kawada.
