| He's a great guy and very energertic teacher who also is an accomplished muscian (he`s crazy about 1970`s funk). Please check out his site. And my students are irrepressibly cheerful and a delight to teach. I feel very lucky to have such bright young people around me everyday. |

| And as for my school, It'is going great, thanks to excellent students and dedicated teachers (and I've signed up for another year). I teach at four schools but spend most of my time here at Ichikawa Higashi KoKo. Kase-Sensei (one of the teachers with whom I team teach) is a good example of why I like this place (see photo below). |

| And so, Last month I slipped away to Nijima island where my good friend Tim works as a teacher. He's the only gaijin on the island which has a population of 3,000. After catching the island hopper to Nijima (1 hour from Tokyo), Tim wasted no time in showing me the many sites of this remote and beautiful place.
