As a former librarian, have to say read or else go straight to Librarian Hell! Chatting and just surfing around the Internet in general are favorite ways I spend my pastime. I'm a scrapbooker in my fantasies, but actually, I just love to buy all the pretty stuff. So, perhaps that makes me a collector of scrapbooking supplies..lol. I am a collector of ugly vases, though...the uglier the better! I like writing, everything from short stories to penpaling. I'm getting back into genealogy after a few years away from in and enjoying it very much. I, also, like all kinds of films, music, and books.
I'm a diabetic, so everything having to do with that illness interests me. So far, I've not found it terribly difficult to live with, thankfully. However, I am beginning to miss those candy bars!!! So, if you've got a great low carb or no sugar recipe or if you know of a great diabetes or low carb site, pass it on to me!!
In June 2006, I was diagnosed with a rare disease called polymyositis and am still learming how to live with this disease and its disabling effects. I'm finding this battle quite difficult and stressful as it has turned my life completely upsidedown. If you're dealing with this disease, I'd love to hear from you. Let's trade war stories! |
