Waxed Leaves and flowers

Materials:

Leaves and flowers
Waxed paper
Newspaper
iron and ironing board
scissors

Method:

Collect leaves and flowers.
Towel them dry
Cover ironing board with several layers of newspaper.
Place a square o waxed paper on top, wax side up.
Make flower/leaf arrangement and top with another square, waxed side down.
Add more newspaper.
Have a big person help you  press with airon on LOW until waxed paper sticks together.
Trim into coasters and placemats or string together to make window hangings.
