Swedish Meatballs Meatballs: 1 1 /2 cups bread crumbs 1/2 cup milk 1 lb. lean ground beef 3 eggs, beaten 1 medium onion, diced 1 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 2 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp dry mustard 2-3 Tbsp butter Sauce: 2 cups beef broth 2 Tbsp beef gravy 2 tsp tomato sauce 1 1/2 cups sour cream 1 clove garli, minced Dash Worchestershire sauce Dash Soy Sauce Soak the bread crumbs in the milk; mix with the ground beef. Add the eggs, onion, garlic powder, salt, peper, nutmeg, and mustard; mix thoroughly. Shape into 40-50 bite sized meatballs. Fry in the butter until browned all over. Mix the beef broth, gravy, tomato sauce, sour cream, garlic, Worcestershire, and soy sauce in a crock pot or 2-qt sauce pan. Simmer until the sauce thickens. If necessary add a little flour or cornstarch to give the sauce enough body to stick to the meatballs. Add cooked meatballs. Serve with toothpicks. Yeild: 40=50 meatballs
