    didn't last long. Right after our daughter was born our microwave died. We were tight on money and wanted an inexpensive replacement. That's exactly what we got with this microwave. We really only heat things up and pop popcorn with our micorwave so we didn't need any fancy features. We thought we were getting an inexpensive item we didn't realize that it was cheap. It lasted less than 2 years. While heating a frozen lunch it just shut off totally. I thought I blew a fuse for some reason at first because I couldn't believe it was already dead. I regret getting this item and will not replace it with another Emerson!

    Works like a dream!. I am often helped by people who take time to talk about a product. So I thought I would let you know that at least this buyer is very happy with this microwave. Works like a dream. Does everything I need. Easy instructions, easy dials. One thing -- I had to go out and purchase a three-prong extension to plug it in -- the cord is very short, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
