She has large, liquid emerald cat eyes with gold and silver specks in them and a delicate heart-shaped face. She has webbing inbetween her fingers and toes and highly arched petite feet. She always is bare-footed. She is slender and willowy, and has a long silvery-white cat's tail.

From the Salem School of Magic for Girls, in Salem, MA; USA. It was obvisious that she was magical at her birth so the Dursleys dumped her into a garbage can, hoping she would die. Somehow she ended up in the US, on the front steps of the Angels of Christ Orphanage at the age of four. All she remembers of that time before are the shining, singing people and her nickname of Rye. She started reading when she was five, but wasn't allowed any books of her own. So she would borrow the other kids' books without their knowing. One of the older boys noticed and taught her the art of theivery. She didn't start talking till she was six because she could hear the person's thoughts in her mind. When she was seven, a new headmaster joined the orphanage. He thought she was very pretty, and he would make up wrong-doings and punish her for them. The punishments stopped at the age of 15 when a rattlesnake found her crying and asked her what was wrong. She told the snake what's been happening to her. The rattlesnake went and bit him killing the headmaster. She is one of the founding members of NIM, The New, Improved Marauders.
