In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

1. Glorified (and Exalted) be He (Allâh) [above all that (evil) they associate with Him]
Who took His slave (Muhammad SAW) for a journey by night from Al-Masjid-al-Harâm (at Makkah) to the farthest mosque (in Jerusalem), the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him (Muhammad SAW) of Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.). Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer[].

Mekke'de nâzil olmuştur. Ancak 26, 32, 33 ve 57. âyetlerle 73 ilâ 80. âyetlerin Medine'de indiği rivayet edilmektedir. 111 (yüzonbir) âyettir. "İsrâ" kelimesi, geceleyin yürümek manasına gelir. Hz. Peygamber'in Mi'rac mucizesinin Mekke'den Kudüs'e kadar olan kısmı bu sûrede anlatıldığından, sûre "İsrâ" adını almıştır.

Laylat al-sra' wa-l-Mi'raj:

Night Journey

Surah 17:1 of the Quran speaks of a miraculous journey by night that the Prophet Muhammad is said to have taken from “the sacred mosque,” the Ka’bah in Mecca, to “the farthest mosque,” understood by Islamic tradition to refer to the Jerusalem Temple built by King Solomon (whom Islam considers a prophet).

Muslim tradition holds that Muhammad flew to Jerusalem on the back of a winged, horse-like creature called al-Buraq while accompanied by the Angel Gabriel. At the Temple, Muhammad is believed to have prayed with Abraham, Moses and Jesus before Gabriel carried him to heaven, where he encountered God.

The journey from Mecca to Jerusalem is known as al-Isra, and the ascent to heaven is al-Mi’raj. Together, they are known as Laylat al-sra’ wa-l-Mi’raj, the “night journey.” It is because of the night journey that Muslims consider Jerusalem their third holiest city, after Mecca and Medina.

The Dome of the Rock, covering the rock from which Muhammad is said to have stepped on his way to heaven, and al-Aqsa (“the farthest”) Mosque today sit atop the same Jerusalem hilltop where the Temple once stood. Muslims revere these sites as reminders of Muhammad’s night journey.

Rahmân (ve) rahîm (olan) Allah'ın adıyla.

1. Oku O yaratan Rabbinin adıyla!

2. İnsanı bir kan pıhtısından yarattı!

3. Oku, O, cömertliğinin sonu olmayan Rabbindir!

4. Kalem ile (yazmayı) öğreten de.

5. O, insana bilmediği şeyleri öğretti.

6. Sakın okumazlık etme! Çünkü insan, muhakkak azıtır!

7. Kendisini artık ihtiyacı yokmuş görmekle.

8. Kesinlikle sonunda Rabbinedir dönüş!

9. Baksana o engelleyene,

10. namaz kılmakta olan bir kulu!

The Leech-like Clot (Al-álaq)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-

2. Created man, out of a leech-like clot:

3. Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,-

4. He Who taught (the use of) the Pen,-

5. Taught man that which he knew not.

6. Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds,

7. In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient.

8. Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all).

9. Seest thou one who forbids-

10. A votary when he (turns) to pray?

11. Seest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance?-

12. Or enjoins Righteousness?

13. Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away?

14. Knoweth he not that Allah doth see?

15. Let him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock,-

16. A lying, sinful forelock!

17. Then, let him call (for help) to his council (of comrades):

18. We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)!

19. Nay, heed him not: but prostrate in adoration, and bring thyself the closer to Allah)!

Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain?
91. O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.
Isra Suresi

Mekke'de inmiştir. 111 ayettir.

32. And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fâhishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allâh forgives him).
Al-Baqarah

275. Those who eat Ribâ (usury) will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a person beaten by Shaitân (Satan) leading him to insanity. That is because they say: "Trading is only like Ribâ (usury)," whereas Allâh has permitted trading and forbidden Ribâ (usury). So whosoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops eating Ribâ (usury) shall not be punished for the past; his case is for Allâh (to judge); but whoever returns [to Ribâ (usury)], such are the dwellers of the Fire - they will abide therein.

Frank Karwowski Commander of St.George's #37 Schenectady, NY
"I just finished your book The Warriors and The Bankers. What an intriguing concept about the formation of Switzerland. After reading this, I must say that I agree with your conclusion, it makes perfect sense as to where and how they escaped from Le Bel."

Tracy R. Twyman Editor Dagobert's Revenge Magazine
" This most recent piece of galvanic scholarship cuts through the muck of cloudy suppositions to reveal an entirely new way of looking at a most mysterious and influential fraternal order. Got a hankerchief? Keep it handy. You'll need it to wipe up the bits of your preconceived notions, which will be thoroughly blown apart."

Adam Prescot Sudbury, Ontario.
"Every page was food for thought and provocative in its implications of the Templar history and subsequent survival. A must read for the etherial and esoteric history buff. From now on I'll seek out other books by the authors. I loved this unexpected little gem of a book and will definatly tell my friends about it."

Book Description
In The Warriors and the Bankers, the research and writing team of Alan Butler and Stephen Dafoe bring their combined experiences to bear on the question asked for hundreds of years, What became of the Knights Templar? Arrested in 1307, dissolved in 1312 and executed by 1314, the Templars have been the subject of many theories concerning their possible survival. This book examines these theories against new evidence and information. Additionally the authors put forth, for the first time, a completely NEW theory that has caught the ears, eyes and attention of many readers.

The ultimate conclusion is that the Templars did survive, virtually intact, and that, in a very direct sense, they may still be one of the most potent forces at work in the world at the start of the new Millennium. The Warriors and the Bankers is eminently readable and is intended for both the serious student of Templarism or simply the interested observer.
