Kay trailed along behind Gwenn and Katerina, taking the opportunity to look at other things as they passed. They did not have to walk very far when they had finally reached Seamus Finnagan's Weaver's shop. As they approached they could see a sign with "Finnagan's Weaver's Shop" in gold and plaid letters, and underneath it was a picture of a red, black, white, and green, Tartan plaid.

When they walked into the whop there were several looms all, all with works in progress on them, and bolts and bolts of fabric in all colors and patterns, including many beautiful plaids in various patterns and colors.

A man that looked in his late sixties, with silver hair, a beard, smiling blue eyes, and with a slightly round belly, walked in the shop from another room carrying a bolt of shimmering jade green fabric. His grand daughter could be seen in the other room somewhere behind him that he just came from.

He had a big smile when he saw Katerina, "Katerina! So good to see you! I've been wondering when you would come in!"

"Hello Seamus! Yes, I have finally come in, and I've brought you some potential customers", she said grinning at him.

Seamus looked at the young man in a guard's uniform and the young woman. The young man fit the description of the lad that Katerina told him she would be bringing in. He smiled, "This must be the Mestru MacConal you mentioned.", and he set down the bolt of fabric he was holding.

"Yes, he is. This is Mestru Gwenn MacConal and his oath sister, Mestra Kay MacDonald", Katerina said smiling.

Moira glanced up from the loom at the sound of customers arriving. The slender young man in the cadet's uniform caught her eye and she paused towatch him for a moment, a long look through her lashes that she held as longas she dared. When his clear grey-blue eyes met hers, she blushed anddropped her gaze abruptly back to her work. Then she risked another glanceand a quick, shy smile.Gwenn noticed the lovely young woman in the back room. He blushedand smiled as she met his eyes, dropped her gaze and then gave him a smile.

Kay bowed to the older man. "It is a pleasure to meet you, mestru Finnegan", she said softly, "This is a lovely shop you have. When I have more time, I will be delighted to have a better look around. I wish I could stay, but there are other matters which require my attention right now, unfortunately enough. However, I couldn't resist taking just a peek so that I could mark this location on my map".

Seamus smiled warmly and nodded to Kay, "Thank you, mestra. I would be honored if you would come in again."

Kay then turned back to Gwenn and Katerina. "Thank you for your assistance and introduction, mestra Katerina", she said before adding to Gwenn "Have a good time here, bredu. By the time you finish your business, I should finally have cleaned myself up into a proper lady and be ready to go visiting".

Katerina's eyes twinkled, "You are quite welcome, Mestra Kay.... Oh! and have a wonderful time at the party tonight."

Gwenn held his bundle up and asked Finnigan while watching the other room out of the corner of his eye, Kay grinned, but said nothing. As she was leaving, she heard Gwenn saying "Mestru, can you duplicate this tartan? 'Tis my family's pattern. The cloth cannae be used asa kilt now, so ye can have a piece of it if ye need" and idly wished she could stick around and watch Gwenn trying to pay attention to two things at once.
