She picked up her book, and snuggled into one of the deep chairs by the fire to read for a bit. Her thoughts kept trailing off the text though, and she found herself more and more curious about Kay's cryptic story, and the possiblity of her breda being an Alton, with a full measure of the Alton donas, from the sounds of things...
And Louis? What was his story? Another laran-wielding foundling? She shook her head, wondering just what she had gotten herself into.
Remembering what they had discussed, she got up and went over to the desk, happy to find writing supplies in it.
She sat down to write a note to Katie, to ask her if she would be able to meet with kay at some point in the near future.
