Amadaine Age:Almost a year and a half old Residence:Most often Kay's room, but sometimes also Oberon's nesting area in the attic of the book shop 'Leaves' Laran ? Only humans (and I think Oberon too, 'cause he's not like other owls) are foolish enough to play with THAT stuff. But if Mama hadn't had any, then she probably wouldn't have found me (and then adopted me). History:Her cage fell off the back of a wagon without being noticed, leaving one confused little hunting bird all alone on the outskirts of the city. Discovered by a lonely Oberon, who thought she was a 'funny-looking little owlet' and (for some reason of his own) shared his kill with her. Was drawn in by Kay's companion-calling spell and bonded to Kay. Personality: Oberon and Kay are the center of her universe, and she gets VERY agitated when neither of them is around. Very cautious and fearful of strangers. Boldest when out hunting prey. Strengths: Good hunter, intensely loyal to Kay Weaknesses: Shy around strangers and is easily-startled. Can't resist the temptation to mess up Kay's covers by scrunching them up ino a "nest" shape. Combat training:I have a sharp beak and talons -- and I know how to use them ! Appearance:A small young hawk. Friends: My best friends are bird-brother-Oberon, human-brother-Ceroill, cat-sister-Mairead, Mama-human-Kay and Mama's-human-kitten-Anwyn.
