[OOC Note: Kay's Oath of Womanhood partially-overlaps the Pledge of Spirituality, which she swore later. It was not officially permitted for her to swear to her religious faith until she reached her legal adulthood a few years later.]

I, Kasilda-Callisu Rhiannon MacDonald, on this day when I have shown my first womans' blood, do solemly swear by my Goddess (the Creatrix in both her Bright and Dark Aspects as the Maiden, the Mother and the Holy Crone), and by my God (the Creator and Light of the World; who is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) and by all the holy gods and goddesses of the universe, that (to the best of my ability and judgment) I will keep this Oath.

I swear to use my talents wisely and to resist any temptation to turn them to selfish or malevolent purposes.

I swear that I will always act in honorable ways to the best of my ability -- being honest with myself and others, keeping my sworn word where I have given it, and fulfilling all responsibilities/commitments I have taken on. Where my conscience dictates, I will strive to change those laws which threaten or harm any (or all) living beings.

I swear that I will be ever vigilant in renouncing all attempts to control me (or take power from me). I will hold no allegiance to any family, household, corporation or church which exacts unquestioning obedience from its members. If attacked by force, I swear that I am prepared to defend myself by whatever means are neccessary.

I swear that no man shall own me, or give me in marriage against my will. If I choose to marry, it shall be a freemate marriage where it is understood that I maintain my own freedom and retain the right to choose my own way of life.

I swear that I will never use my sexuality to manipulate or trap any being. Neither will I ever give myself sexually to any person, save in my own time and season (and of my own free will at my own desire).

I swear that I will always support myself to the best of my ability and never earn my bread as the object of any man's lust. Furthermore, I will bear no child to any man, save at my own time and choice with a partner who is both willing and able to be a worthy co-parent; and I will always retain an equal voice in determining the rearing of any child I ever bear.

My proven oath-friends, those who are my kin-by-choice, shall be to me (each and every one) as my elder, my sibling, or my child; born of one blood with me, and no one among them who seeks my help with sincerity shall appeal to me in vain.

While I continue to keep this Oath unviolated, may it be granted to me to enjoy life and the practice of my talents under the protection of my Goddess and God.

But should I trespass and violate and betray this Oath, then shall I immediately forfeit the right to call myself a woman rather than an honorless piece of chattel -- and may every hand turn against me before I face the ultimate judgment and mercy of the Almighty.

So mote it be.
