Notes for Mary WARRIMBERE
From letter of George Stanley Shirk to George Bricker April 1, 1938:
Mary Warrimbere (Madame LeFiere) was quite a person, evidently. During the religious persecutions of the Hugenots she managed to escape from France and later get to England and she got a grant of land or some special favor from William Penn and then brought her brood over here and settled, as I recall, on the fertile land at or near Pequea.
