"My immigrant ancestor Georg Michael Breiner/Briner settled in western Berks County near where immigrant Mathias Ley/Loy had settled. Breiner married Ley's daughter Catherine. Mathias's son Michael came to Perry County in the 1780s. In the 1790s and early 1800s five of Loy's Briner cousins came to settle in Perry County. ... The Breiners were followers of Rev.
